kale smoothie2

Yes it’s another green smoothie but do not be afraid, we promise you will love it.  Did you know that according to Webmd.com, one cup of chopped raw kale provides more than 100% of the daily value of vitamins A, C, and K.  Now who’s not willing to drink a delicious smoothie and get those vitamins so easily?  Try it out, see what you think.

 

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

2 Cups Rainbow Kale (about 1 1/2 large stalks & green leaf)

1 Banana

8-10 Ice Cubes

Directions

1. Add orange juice, rainbow kale, banana and ice cubes to the blender container.  We highly recommend a Vitamix blender but any blender should work.  Blend on high for 3o seconds or until completely blended.

2. Serve immediately and ENJOY!!
